Celebrating the International Day of the Girl Child

As the world marks the International Day of the Girl Child, we’re proud to take action in a way that truly makes a difference. The Sokrit Charity Foundation will be visiting Standard Foundation School, Barnawa, Kaduna to host our Pad the Girl outreach, a program dedicated to supporting young girls with access to sanitary pads and educating them on menstrual hygiene and confidence.

For many girls, something as simple as a sanitary pad can determine whether they stay in school or miss important days of learning each month. Through this outreach, we’re not only providing essential supplies but also reminding every girl that her dreams and dignity matter.

We’re still welcoming donations to help us reach more girls. Each pad costs just ₦600–₦800 (about $0.60) — a small contribution that can make a big difference.
