Overview
As part of Sokrit Charity Foundation’s ongoing campaign on Menstrual Hygiene and Girl Child Empowerment, the team conducted an outreach program at Standard Foundation School, Barnawa.
Summary of Activities
The outreach successfully reached approximately 80 girls. Our resource person, Miss Tamar Sheyin, the founder of Woman with Purpose, delivered an extensive session on menstrual hygiene, emphasizing the importance of awareness, proper sanitary practices, and confidence during menstruation.
The session was highly interactive. To encourage participation, Miss Tamar asked questions at the end of her presentation. Two students who answered correctly received Sokrit Charity Foundation–branded school bags as gifts.
Conclusion
The outreach at Standard Foundation School was impactful and well-received by both students and school management. It successfully advanced our mission of empowering girls through knowledge and providing them with essential hygiene materials.
